Spaghetti Cutlets – Try New Ramadan Recipe
Ramadan are just around the corner, and it is the time of the year when one can try new recipes and at the time of Iftar you can get praise from guests and family for bringing something new and different to break the fast with. Recently far Eastern and Chinese flavors has made their way to Ramadan recipes. Usually because Chinese food is considered easy to digest and not too heavy. Well the Ramadan Recipe of Spaghetti Cutlets is not that light and neither its Chinese. It is a spicy Pakistani Ramadan recipe and it is deep fried. You can serve spaghetti cutlets with tomato sauce, date tamarind chutney and cabbage salad with mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- 1 cup spaghetti (boiled)
- 1 cup chicken bone less mice (boiled and shredded)
- 2 cup potato (boiled and mashed)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
- 1/2 cup sweet corn
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 3 green chilies paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 cup bread crumb
- Oil for frying
Method
In a large bowl add spaghetti, chicken, potato, black pepper powder, salt, green chilies paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, sweet corn, and cheddar cheese mix well.
Now make cutlets with this mixture. Heat oil in a large pan.
Dip cutlets first in egg mixture, then in bread crumb mixture to coat.
Add 2 cutlets in oil cook until underside is crisp and golden brown 2-3 minutes per side. Turn and brown on other side throughly for about 2 minutes more.
Drain on paper towels. Add remaining oil to skillet. Repeat with remaining cutlets.
Delicious spaghetti cutlets is ready to serve. Serve with tomato ketchup, chutney, and salad.
