Shan Chicken Biryani

Shan Biryani masala mix is very famous all over world. It is easy to make and very delicious.

Ingredients
1 kg chicken
1 kg basmati rice
1 cup yogurt
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 onion
Half cup fresh mint
half cup fresh coriander
1 cup oil
salt to taste
yellow food color

Method

Fry the onion until it is golden brown.

Add ginger, garlic paste, yogurt, chicken and Shan Masala in the oil.

Cook on medium heat until chicken is done.

Cook the rice separately. Add 3 tbsp salt to 12 glasses hot water and the soaked rice. Boil until the rice is half cooked.

Layer the rice, chicken and fried onion one by one. Sprinkle dry food color over the rice.

Add fresh mint and coriander. The top layer of rice to moisture the yellow food color.

Cover with a lid and cook on low heat  until the rice is completely soft but not too soft.

Mix the biryani properly before serving.

Best served with Salad and Raita.
