Chocolate Chip Cookies

I always wanted to make cookies for my children. I remember the times when I wasn’t good in cooking and even then I fantasized being a mom that made world’s best chocolate cookies. I am not saying that I have mastered the skill, but I am getting good at it. Chocolate Chip Cookies are famous all over the world. Prepared in many different ways across the globe. But people who love dipping cookies in milk would find these cookies all over the world. The recipe I am sharing here is quite simple:

Ingredients

• 2 sticks unsalted butter
• 21/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 2 tbsp milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

Preheat oven 375 degree F (175 degrees C ). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl add butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Mix them together until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, beat well with each egg that you add, then stir with vanilla extract.

Combine the baking soda, flour and salt. Stir into the creamy mixture.

Now fold in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls into the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 9 t0 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light brown.

Let cool completely then remove from cookie sheet. you can use spatula to remove the cookies from the sheet.

Tasty Chocolate chip cookies are ready to be served and stored in air tight jars. Serve them with milk, tea or cream.
